JUNG HYUN YOO·SEP 2026

JUNG HYUN YOO

The independent studios were the story this season, and IMPARI was among the ones I couldn't stop thinking about after the show.

JUNG HYUN YOO

There are shows you watch, and there are shows you carry with you afterwards. IMPARI's eRmission ≠ Slip was the second kind. Twenty-something looks, one recycled material, one studio, one clear point of view — the kind of coherence you rarely get from labels three times the size.

What struck me most wasn't the surface work, though the printed drapes were extraordinary. It was the quiet insistence that every piece could be traced back to a single decision made in the atelier. There are no shortcuts in an IMPARI garment. You feel that in the drape, in the weight, in the way each look sat on the model.

Berlin doesn't need another label chasing the calendar. It needs studios that build slowly and honestly. IMPARI is doing both.
